Union Depot Lofts
 Now a part of the National Register of Historic Places (added in 1974), the Union Depot of St. Paul, MN was originally built in 1881. It was considered the main hub for train transportation out of St. Paul handling roughly 8 million passengers in its peak year. In 2005 a massive undertaking began on the construction of 33 Loft units by a local developer. His goal was to turn the upper level floors of the Union Depot into high end Lofts while preserving the rest of the building.Â
